i think there should be character transfer for many reasons.
if your friend wants to play onyour file cuz your so good give him a character.
if you have someone that plays on your file with you trade a character to another file so he can play i think many will agree with me

disagree! i've seen people doing fast "leveling" services for compensation. they would exploit the hell out of this. if you pay someone to level you, whats the point of playing the game?

personally, it'd take out all the fun of the game for me.

I agree with kleps... something like that would take fun away from the game... If your friend is playing on your account... then let him keep what he gets (weapons/items/resources/gold), when he buys his own copy of the game. Wouldn't take much to plan out an in game meet with his "old self"... then delete his old character when you're done with the swap.

Overall... I disagree...
